Just gave an innovative idea to a EyeRelax staff last week (24 Jul 08) when my wife and I visited their office to collect a table lamp whilst giving our experiences using the eye relaxing device that was supposedly to be effective for amblyopia (lazy eye), myopia (short-sightedness) and presbyopia (long-sightedness).
I also have another eye relaxing device which basically works on the same principle to focus and unfocus the eye. EyeRelax uses lights (colour) effect while another device uses animal pictures. Both aims to attract kids to use the device for five or ten minutes per treatment. But after using for days on ends, its novelty usually loses its appeal. Why? Because who would want to look at the same thing day in day out.
So my suggestion to the EyeRelax staff was to tell her boss to come up with a device that works on the similar principle of “focus and unfocus” effect but this time round to plug onto a television (maybe via the input cables) and certainly everyone would want to use it since they would be watching their favourite program thought albeit a bit unfocused and focused during the show. However, this would allow the user not only to stay with the treatment program, but also to improve or accentuate their audacity (hearing) during “out focal” range. Maybe it would be better to plug onto a video player to play VCD, Mpeg 4 or WMA format.
So please get to do this product quickly and launch it as soon as possible or your competitor would beat you to it.
Good Luck!
